A WHOLE LOT OF APPOINTMENTS AND CONCERTS

Unfortunately, the trip to Kabul has been cancelled due to security reasons... although it was voluntary, we would have gladly gone- however, Uzbekistan comes next (August)

From the 25th to the 27th of May and on the 15th and 16th of June, the play BOEING BOEING took place in the Waldau Theater. The Bildzeitung and 7 other media prints rated it very highly and described it as lively and funny. Annabelle Mierzwa and Saskia Dreyer were performing and shining in this show - we congratulate them.

More information on BOEING BOEING can be found at www.waldautheater.de

The first Birthday gala of the Bremer Musical Company took place at 20:00 hr on the 1st of June 2007 in the Waldau Theater. All students of the EUMAC took part and performed in pieces from musicals such as ELISABETH, TANZ DER VAMPIRE, CATS, MARIA STUART together with the BMC and a live band on stage. We are very happy about this. Further information at www.waldautheater.de.

On the 8th of June 2007, we were in the Barock gardens of the Hundisburg (close to Magdeburg) – together with the BMC and Mark Derichs (who is currently performing in the ‚MUSKETIEREN’).

Also on the 9th of June, there was a concert in the Palette Schwanewede.

On the 22nd of June 2007 we had a concert in Domäne Scharnebeck (close to Lüneburg) – the hometown of Annabelle Mierzwa. Annabelle found out: Performing infront of family and friends is the hardest.

A great experience was the performance at the City festivals and also at the end of August 2007 in Sarmakand, the spring of civilisation on the silk road in Uzbekhistan.

And finally the trip to Kabul, Afghanistan, did take place. Great experience that those who took part don´t want to forget. Participation was of course voluntary.

‘The Tuesday Night Show – Entertainment with the Stars of Tomorrow’

From heaven falls high falling stars: Real ‘Stars’ must work hard on their career. The support of these young talents is generally known and seen in flying colours. Here, the students learn everything one needs to become succesful in show business: singing, dancing and acting. Every second Tuesday in the month, the Stars of tomorrow present their audience with a taste of their numerous programmes. Most of the pieces will come from the field of musicals, however, pop and jazz pieces will also be presented. Most of the the performances in 2005 and the year 2006 were sold out and were great succeses. This will certainly continue in 2007.The events begin at 20:00 hr. The entrance tickets cost 10 euros for adults (reduced to 5 euros for students). Tickets may be ordered in advance by calling 0421 / 377 50 - 18 or 0421/377 50 – 13 or buy purchasing directly from the ticketing centre.
